Every piece we create is a labour of devotion. These Terms & Conditions exist to ensure that each commission is treated with the care and clarity it deserves.

INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Brit Day Bridal. By accessing our website or purchasing our products and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.

PRODUCTS & SERVICES

We offer bespoke custom couture pieces, ready-to-wear couture, veils and accessories, and styling services.

BESPOKE CUSTOM COUTURE SERVICE

3.1 Timeline

  • Custom couture garments require a minimum lead time of 6–12 months prior to your event date.

  • Veils and accessories typically take 2–4 weeks.

3.2 Pricing and Payment

  • Base prices for custom couture pieces start from $8,000 AUD (plus GST). Pricing may vary depending on design complexity, fabrics, and additional customization.

  • Initial consultation fee: $150 + GST AUD (45 minutes, virtual only).

  • A non-refundable 50% deposit is required upon design confirmation to secure your place and begin the design process.

Payment schedule:

  • 50% deposit upon design confirmation

  • 25% due after first toile fitting

  • 25% final balance due prior to garment pickup or delivery

  • Once the deposit is paid, the sale is final and non-refundable.

3.3 Made-to-Measure Option

  • An additional $1,000 AUD applies for made-to-measure services for clients needing sizing adjustments (e.g., between sizes, larger bust, etc.) to ensure the perfect fit.

  • This can be selected at purchase or discussed via email.

READY-TO-WEAR COUTURE, VEILS & ACCESSORIES

  • Ready-to-wear items and accessories are made to order in our Sydney studio with a typical production time of 8-12 weeks (4-6 weeks for veils/accessories).

  • Rush fees may apply and will be communicated upon enquiry.

  • All items are quality inspected before shipping.

VIP STYLING

  • VIP Styling garments are available for hire or custom-made for celebrities, talent, photoshoots, and special events, priced on application (POA).

  • Specific terms and fees will be outlined in your service agreement.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed.

Courier Services
All orders are dispatched via trusted courier services. Tracking details will be provided once your order has shipped. Delivery timelines are estimates only and may vary due to unforeseen circumstances.

Customs, Duties & Taxes
Customers are solely responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees applied by their destination country. Brit Day Bridal is not liable for delays caused by customs clearance processes.

Responsibility & Liability

Once an order has been dispatched from our Sydney studio, liability passes to the customer. Brit Day Bridal is not responsible for parcels that are lost, stolen, delayed, or damaged in transit. Customers are responsible for ensuring that shipping details are entered correctly at checkout; we cannot accept liability for parcels lost due to incorrect addresses provided.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

All Brit Day Bridal garments are handmade to order in our Sydney studio. Due to the bespoke nature of our couture and ready-to-wear pieces, we do not accept returns or issue refunds under any circumstances.

Veils and accessories are only eligible for return in the rare event of a proven fault, and will be assessed on a strict case-by-case basis. Should you believe your item is faulty, please contact us immediately at hello@britdaybridal.com.au with detailed photographs.

Unless otherwise agreed, shipping costs for approved returns are the responsibility of the customer.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All designs, sketches, patterns, and couture details remain the exclusive intellectual property of Brit Day Bridal.

By engaging our services, you acknowledge and agree not to reproduce, copy, or use these designs for any purpose outside of your commissioned piece.

Any design details or concepts shared during consultations are considered confidential and are provided solely for the creation of your bespoke garment.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All deposits and payments for bespoke garments and VIP styling services are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.

In the event of cancellation after a deposit or payment has been made, Brit Day Bridal will retain all amounts paid to date. This retention reflects design, development, and administrative costs, as well as the loss of studio time allocated to your commission.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing. No exceptions will be made.

PRIVACY & DATA COLLECTION

Your personal information is collected and managed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.

By engaging with Brit Day Bridal — through our website, consultations, or services — you consent to the collection, storage, and use of your personal information as outlined in that policy.

LIABILITY

Every Brit Day Bridal piece is crafted with the utmost care and to the highest quality standards. Once delivered, however, we accept no responsibility for damage resulting from misuse, unauthorised alterations, or failure to follow care instructions.

Brit Day Bridal will not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use or wear of our products.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

Any disputes or claims arising in connection with these Terms & Conditions shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
